1. Outside The Perimeter

Poem is written by Alastair James Thompson and read by Andrew Blackie.
Produced by Andrey Ash.
Lyrics
I seek a different kind of space outside the perimeterand just right where imperfections can be seen as beautiful.
But dead or alive, we make little or no difference.
it's all and forever always the same.
Just like the specks of dust that blow away with the wind,
That maybe is just the simple beauty and the thrill of it all.
If one day there comes a time to seek the help that we all need,
then it will be fine and I will believe once again and then I will be free...
to be outside the perimeter.
And do we choose the road ahead?
Or is it simply chosen for us? And chosen for me too? Nobody knows.
But all absolution is not like a ticket to ride.
it isn't going to run out now or ever in time.
but rules are rules to obey or ignore at our peril...
And in our lives, is it love? Or just the memories of that love?
There is here and then there is not here
and that's just the nature and the great science of it all...
of being outside the perimeter!

Lyrics
Verse 1:To fall and arise
As the wind blows sand in my eyes
I glance across this stormy sea
And search beyond the horizon
Whilst I try to work out why
Or understand the reason
But with no more tears to cry
As my thoughts then fly away
Up high into this turquoise and blue
Infinite sky away up high…
Chorus:
Well we all fall down to the ground
Sometimes we’re lost and then we get found
We then rise up again
From the darkness inside and out of the rain
Pack our bags forget the pain
Get up off the floor and walk on through a new door
To take another path down
A long long road
A long long long road…
Verse 2:
To fall and then arise
I feel the breezes blow so many thoughts away from my mind
As the waves break onto the shore
I start to let go and unwind
But deep in my mind you’re still by my side
Even when a new life unfolds
With so many dreams far and wide
Full of all my imaginings
I breath in the air and become
More aware
That there are always new beginnings
To pave another way for today
Chorus 2:
(As above)
Verse 3:
To Fall and arise
As the wind blows sand in my eyes
I glance across this serene sea
And search beyond the horizon.....

Lyrics
Verse 1:When the darkness comes
And arrives swiftly out of nowhere
You know that those soulless men
That rule are now here so beware
They are but only mere mortals still
With very sad vacancies of a life
They are solely servants and will
Try to slice up your soul with knife
And sword but disguised as doers
Of good to save us all as rulers
To divide us that’ll make us fall
Chorus:
When Darkness comes
Be ready to stand and fight
For what you know is right
When Darkness comes
Take up arms to fight
To keep the love of truth and light
When Darkness comes
It’s time to wake up and take flight
From all the fear and the hate
When Darkness comes
Keep hold of what you believe
To be true to help humanities fate
Verse 2:
I sense the devil is coming too close
Letting loose many secret demons
That live in the shadows of our lives
To confuse use and abuse us all
Are you prepared to strive to survive
Even if heavens might deem to fall
As only god knows what may befall
Us to turn our worlds inside and out
With cultures turned upside down
See the temptation grow to drown
In the sorrows of what’s been lost
As those still sane count the costs
Chorus.
End verse:
When the darkness comes
And arrives swiftly out of nowhere
You know that those soulless men
That rule are now here so beware
And prepare...
To avoid their endless abyss of HELL!
4. Too Late
Lyrics and music by Alastair James Thompson and Andrew Blackie.
Vocals by Andrew Blackie.
Drums and mixing by Andrey Ash.
Lyrics
Verse 1It’s never too late
At least that’s what they say
Always tricked by fate
Seems to be the way
That all things came to pass
When I needed all those memories to last
They’ve gone so fast
Chorus option two
So maybe it’s one more conversation
That’s trapped inside my head
Still stuck trying to find a door
I’m locked outside instead
All this wondering and waiting
For the portents from an angel above
But is it too late, my love?
Verse 2
You’d know me in time
And know yourself better
With the secrets you’ll find
In the words of my letter
Do I find you safe and well?
Are you still held in a spell?
Do you understand the tale I need to tell?
Chorus
Middle 8
That first dawn has passed
But desire had never gone
With the echoes of voices
And misguided choices
This desperate heart beats on
Chorus
5. At The Edge

Composed by Alastair James Thompson
Guitars, Vocals, Keyboards: Alastair James Thompson
Percussion Programming: Alastair James Thompson, Andrey Ash
Effects, Mixing: Andrey Ash
Production: The Seeds of Time
Lyrics
I remember a lifetime long agoLiving and standing by the river
To look at my reflection in the water
Flowing by and also wondering why
I didn’t have the courage then to try
And make it across to the other side
Now at the water’s edge
Yes I’m on the edge
Of a fast flowing river
That can carry me away
To the best of my knowledge
I couldn’t resist to try to fly
High on up to the bright blue sky above and then beyond
Then I tried to find the one to love
Sailing far too close to the wind
And also playing with burning fire
To take me way on up higher and higher
But only then to lose the one I love
And so I crashed and burned
Still I never learn ...
Well I’ve been at the edge
As I look far out to sea
From the cliff I see
The place I dream to be
But also wondering if
I was to fall
Down to the rocks below
Would you hear me call
Out to you by name
Or would this be in vain
As I crash and burn again
And still I pray to the stars above
Even if I was to crash and burn and burn again ! ...
But that’s because I already knew
Some before me had tried and died
And from then on I clearly understood
The risks the danger but the big adventure
At the edge and learn I would
About the thrill of danger on the edge ...

Lyrics
Walking towards the sunsetThe mountains fade away
Way ahead in the distance
Land and sky above blend in together
Melting into a bleeding sky
a bleeding sky
Your feet, soil, a land still warm
Baked by beams of the blazing sun
And the whistling winds blow sand
Straight across the zig zag path
the zig zag path
that zig zag path
On your tongue a taste of burning
Your eyes wettened by the crudeness of it all
But there's no turning back
As beyond lies the immensity
Of your desert dream freedom
your dream freedom
dream freedom
your dream freedom
And you gasp and gasp again
As your tired feet drag on into the dust
But your head is light
And your soul flies up above
Drifting around in the warm air
It sees nothing but the beauty
Yes nothing but the beauty
Just before the end
Just before the end
Just before the end...
Beyond the sunset
Well beyond the sunset...
